Approval Required: Please note that all applications and supporting documentation must be reviewed and approved by SP+ Parking Management before parking privileges can be granted. Submission of this application does not automatically guarantee validated parking at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) or George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
Eligibility & License Plate Requirements: To be eligible for parking privileges, the vehicle must display a permanently affixed, active (unexpired) qualifying Texas Veteran or Qualifying Military Specialty license plate. Temporary dealer or paper tags are strictly ineligible. Physical Presence Requirement: The qualifying veteran must be present in the vehicle at the time of exiting the parking facility.
Vehicle Registration Requirements: The vehicle registration receipt must be current (unexpired) and explicitly in the name of the qualifying veteran, corresponding directly to the Texas Veteran license plate provided. Vehicles registered solely to a spouse, family member, or third party are not eligible for complimentary parking, even if the veteran is present in the vehicle.
Program Limits & Exclusions: Complimentary parking is limited to up to 60 consecutive days in ecopark lots (JFK Blvd at IAH or ecopark at HOU) or up to 5 consecutive days in terminal parking garages per visit. Standard daily rates apply for any additional days beyond these limits. Complimentary parking does not apply to Valet or employee/work-related parking.
Plate Maintenance & Changes: The license plate approved through this application is the only vehicle eligible for parking privileges. If you change license plates or register a new vehicle, a new application must be submitted and approved before parking privileges can be transferred to the new vehicle.
Annual Recertification: Vehicle registration and ID verification must be resubmitted annually to maintain active parking privileges at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
